Brethren:

The ten who went on our fishing trip this past month really enjoyed the day on the Bay.  Looks like the beginning of a Henry Lodge tradition.  Senior Warden Bob Williams has already booked a date for next May.

Take a good look at the calendar (below) for the current month.  I particularly encourage you to support the Rainbow Assembly by your attendance at their chicken dinner on the 7^th.  Henry lodge is blessed through an especially vibrant Rainbow.  They deserve our support and encouragement.  I also hope that you can include the Table Lodge on your calendar.  After a great meal, we’ll go through the table lodge ritual.  It’s a lot of fun and since the ritual harks back to long ago, it brings to mind the traditions we have inherited.

Brethren, that big sycamore has been all cut up into fireplace wood.  It’s all stacked and available for the taking.  Of course, if you’d like to make a contribution for the wood you take we’ll accept it.

Just one more reminder about blood.  The need is always there and it’s one of the ways we can give back to the community.  If you can and are willing to donate, please do so.  When you do, don’t forget to fill in the sheet in the fellowship hall and tell Bart Enright, our lodge blood chairman.

For future planning, note that our stated communication in November will be on the 28^th since our Grand Lodge communication will be held November 12 through 15.
