Brethren,

January was a busy month. My sincere thanks to all those who helped with the various activities at Lodge to make things a success and hat’s off to the OES for their help with the Installation in December and the dinner at our Stated Communication. Congratulations to Abigayle Wood who is now Worthy Advisor of Fairfax Assembly #3, IORG.

At our February Stated Communication, we will be receiving the DDGM for our District, R.W. Robert Hopkins. Be sure if you can attend, to do so, to show Henry’s support for R.W. Hopkins. Dinner will be served at 6:30, with the Communication starting at 7:30. See you there.

I also would like to announce that in accordance with Executive Order No. 4, the nomination of next year's DDGM for Henry will be held at our March Stated Communication. It’s Henry’s turn to submit the first nomination, so please be in attendance for your input.

I look forward to seeing you in Lodge, and may peace and love delight to dwell with and bless each of you.

A Word from our Lodge Librarian…

Brethren,

Many of us maintain personal Masonic book collections at home but our Lodge likewise, as a central point in our travels, should keep a robust selection available for seasoned Brethren and for the benefit of newly-made Masons. As such, Bro. Kerry Kirk has volunteered to act as a representative for our ante-room Library. He will be exhorting others to donate books or just to make suggestions. He will also post a sign-out sheet and a catalogue from the Masonic Service Association, N.A. (the publisher of the famed 'Short-Talk Bulletins' available for $6/year). Finally, he has donated 15 new books of a Masonic nature to kick-start this effort. Please check them out or be sure to talk to Bro. Kerry about any ideas you have.
