Brethren,

Another exciting month has passed! On the 8th of April we were honored to welcome MW Frederick Garrison Martin, III, our Grand Master, to our Lodge. Over 70 Brothers filled our sidelines to warmly receive the Grand Master and hear his address following a delicious dinner prepared by Hope Chapter. My heartfelt thanks to the following for making this event a success: Fonda Wise, Hazel Cross, Faye Pollard, Sue Neal, Ginny Conrad, Suzi Fowler, Joe Hyer, Doris Campbell, Margaret Graybill, Lee Hyer, Margaret Fredericks, Louisa Williams, Wor. Ralph Smith, Wor. Bobby Campbell, Bro. J. D. Powers, the Officers of Henry Lodge and the Rainbow Girls! MW Martin used the occasion to present a Grand Lodge Diploma for completion of all three catechisms to Bro. Donald S. Lee and a Life Membership In Perpetuity to Wor. Robert B. Williams.

Special thanks to Bro. Clesson McDonald for chairing the Bring A Friend Night Program on April 1st.

At our May 13th Stated we will honor our Past Masters. Five good reasons to attend: (1) RW Bill Sheads will be sitting in the East and Past Masters will be filling the Chairs; (2) we will officially receive and hear from our DIW, RW Ed Ray; (3) all Master Masons will jointly renew their obligation; (4) a steak dinner will be served at 6:30 pm; and (5) abundant opportunity for great fellowship!

See you in lodge!

Harry

Worshipful Master

Habitat for Humanity Community Outreach Project

As part of our Community Outreach, Henry Lodge will support the local Habitat for Humanity community project on Stevenson Street in Fairfax. Volunteers are requested to meet at the Lodge at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 10th, and then proceed to the job site. We expect to be installing molding and or painting. All necessary tools will be provided. We will return to the Lodge for lunch and then back to the job site until about 4:30 pm. Wear your Henry jacket, shirt and hat if you have them. Comfortable work clothes, gloves and boots or heavy soled shoes are a must. Wor. Paul Kulp (703-978-0394) is the project coordinator. Note that all participants will be required to sign a release before working on the site. This should be a fun project as we work together to give back to our community!
