My Brethren:

The tax month and holy seasons are behind us and spring is upon us in full force.  The lodge family had a most enjoyable clean-up session to put on a fresh face for the coming months of pleasant weather; my thanks to all who participated in this successful and rewarding effort, especially the DeMolay eating machines. 

Of special interest this month, we will be recognizing the superb efforts of local Eagle Scouts in open lodge on Tuesday, 1 May ’01; the ceremony is most impressive and you should not miss it.  Be sure to mark your calendar for the Masonic Family Bay Fishing outing on Saturday, 19 May ’01.  A deposit of $20 saves you a boat space; plan on being one of the fifteen participants.

As a heads-up, Master Masons have been invited to attend an all day DeMolay event to be held in Luray Caverns on Saturday, 2 June ’01 and on the following day, Sunday, 3 June ’01, the Masonic Family is encouraged to attend a Cannons baseball game.
