My Brethren:

All good things must come to an end and I must say that the end of this year has come all too soon from my perception.  I can’t thank you all enough for your unflagging support of your lodge and request your continued support in the years to come.

I trust that I have left the woodpile just a little higher than I found it even though we didn’t accomplish all that we planned; you can judge for yourself.  As the old Gunny says, “set your sights high, then if you fall short, you are still way up there.”

The big news from Grand Lodge this year is the limited recognition of Prince Hall Masons; I am proud to have been a voting member on this important issue.
